New Yorker by birth; Greek, English, and Swedish by heritage; Californian in a desperate attempt to escape the concept of winter. I write. Too much or not enough, depending on your point of view. I work in the publishing industry, and that's an entire diatribe unto itself. This journal, however, is my playground, and very little here has anything to do with my work. But since I am obsessed with media in general, some overlap is probably inevitable.

A book worm from way back, I'm convinced there aren't enough hours in the day to devote to reading. I also used to be addicted to TV and the movies, but life is short and somehow I've run out of hours... I'm still a film geek, but my TV is mostly for watching Netflix. And after years of being a dedicated couch (desk?) potato, I've somehow become a runner. It's weird, and I can't really explain it, other than to say that it's nice to have a way to turn my brain off.

This journal has somehow evolved into mostly Friends Only. I lock posts where I'm chatty, but fanfic and the like is left open. If you think we know each other and want full access, drop me an e-mail.
